Biden snaps at Fox’s Peter Doocy for ‘lousy question’ about Devon Archer

On Wednesday, President Biden snapped back at Fox News’ Peter Doocy over a question regarding the president’s own son, Hunter Biden and his business dealings.

Doocy said to Biden during a public event held in Belen, N.M.: “There is this testimony where one of your former business associates claims that you talked business with them a lot on speakerphone.”

Biden replied, “I’ve never done business with anyone.” “I knew you would have a terrible question.”

Doocy asked the president “what makes this a lousy answer?”

Biden replied, “Because that’s not the case.”

The question was a reference to the recently released transcript from a House Oversight Committee Interview with Devon Archer a former business partner of Hunter Biden.

Archer informed the panel that Hunter Biden had placed his father, the then vice president, on speakerphone when he met with business associates. The interview with the committee also covered the “brand” of Biden in detail. Archer said that the phone conversations he observed were “generally about weather and what it was like in Norway, Paris, or wherever Hunter Biden may be,” but he did not hear anything regarding the substance of Hunter Biden’s business dealings.

Republicans in Congress, as well as leading pundits from conservative media outlets, have been outraged by Hunter Biden’s recent business dealings. They accuse the son of the president of benefiting financially because his father was a senator and vice-president for many years.

Doocy has repeatedly gotten the president in a tizzy with his questioning.

Last year, Biden called the Fox White House reporter who had asked the President a question on the economy a “stupid bitch”.

Since months, there has been an acrimonious relationship between Biden’s White House, and Fox News, which is the most popular cable news channel.

The White House issued a harsh rebuke to the network earlier this month after Greg Gutfeld made comments about the Holocaust, which the White House called an “obscenity”.

Biden is currently on a West Coast tour, which he uses to promote his economic agenda as well as other important legislative initiatives he has taken during his first two and a half years in office.
