Biden torched for claiming ‘undocumented’ immigrants ‘built this country’ after saying same of middle class

Biden has been criticized online after claiming, in a recent radio interview, that “undocumented immigrants” built this country.

He apologized for calling Jose Ibarra an “illegal”, the Venezuelan accused of killing Augusta University nursing students Laken Riley and Laken Riley’s mother. Social media users reacted angrily to President Obama’s claim that illegal immigrants “built” America, something he previously attributed to the American middle-class.

In his SOTU address, he claimed that unions and middle-class Americans built this country. Now he claims ‘undocumented immigrants’ built the country. Jeff Gremillion, a journalist at X, asked: “Any guesses as to who he is going to say built the nation the next time he speaks to an African American audience?”

Biden told Jonathan Capehart, MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart, that he shouldn’t have called Ibarra “illegal”, a 26-year-old who crossed the border illegally in Texas, but was released on parole to enter the U.S., before he was charged with the murder of Riley.

Biden told Capehart he should have said “undocumented”, not “illegal”, when referring to Riley’s alleged murderer in an off-script moment during the State of the Union Address last week.

Biden stated, “I should have said undocumented instead of illegal. “And, look, when I discussed the differences between Trump and myself, one of the issues I brought up was his border – how he talked about vermin or the way that these people polluted the blood. I spoke about what I will not do. I won’t treat these people in a disrespectful way. They built this country. “We have to control our border and flow more smoothly if we want our economy to grow.”

Biden said during his State of the Union Address that Wall Street did not build America, while acknowledging the endorsement of United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain. They are not bad people. But they didn’t. “Unions and the middle class built this country.

Another X user also condemned the juxtaposition, writing, “Did President @JoeBiden say that illegals, i.e. undocumented migrants, built this country?” The @WhiteHouse must explain this …. “My great-grandparents [were] born into slavery in this country.”

The presumptive GOP candidate, former President Trump, attacked Biden’s apology during a rally. Trump slammed Biden’s apology for confusing Laken Riley with USC’s head football coach Lincoln Riley. He also criticized Biden for calling Laken Riley’s murderer a criminal. The crowd booed.

“They’ve got a new, even worse name. Do you know what it’s called? “Neighbor,” Trump replied. “A newcomer in our country… Are we going insane or what?” Is the country going insane? What about this one, newcomer… No, he’s an illegal. He was an illegal alien, I said. He was an illegal alien. He was an illegal immigrant. He shouldn’t be in the country. And under Trump policy, he would never have been.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who challenged Biden to mention Riley’s last name during the State of the Union, also criticized Biden for his apology over the term “illegal”.

“Disgusting. Greene, writing on X, said that Biden apologized to an illegal alien animal that brutally killed Laken Riley.

Trump met with Riley’s parents during his rally on Saturday, the day after Biden apologized for his interview.
