Biden Kicks Out Reporters as Zelenskyy Tries to Answer Questions
On Wednesday, during the 79th Annual NATO Summit in Lithuania, President Joe Biden met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy, in front of reporters, thanked Americans for their billions of dollars in arms transfers to the country to help push back the Russians. Biden responded by making his own remarks.
Thank you for your help. We still rely on it today. We were incredibly grateful for your support. We understand that the amount is more than 43 billion dollars as of today. It is a big contribution, and I know it’s your money. But you must also realize that this money is not only spent on fighting. This money is for our own lives. “I think we saved many lives in Europe and the rest of the world,” Zelenskyy added.
After Zelenskyy finished his remarks, White House staff hurried reporters out of the room as he tried to answer more questions.
