California Dems approve state-sanctioned kidnapping
California continues to wage a war against parents’ rights. New legislation is currently being introduced in the state legislature. This is the latest shocking incident. It would allow children as young 12 years old to “check in” to group homes, without parental consent. This legislation would be applicable to mental health professionals who evaluate the safety of children. Although the bill’s authors claim that it is being considered because of an increase in suicides among minorities children, it is quite obvious what this really means. This would amount to state-sanctioned child abduction.
California Democrats Tuesday introduced a bill to allow children under 12 years old to enter group homes without parental consent. Critics claim this would permit the “state-sanctioned child abduction” of children.
The bill was approved by the state’s Assembly Judiciary Committee. It would allow mental health professionals, regardless of whether the child has claimed neglect or abuse, to place children in residential facilities on request. Counselors are instructed to decide whether to notify a minor’s parents after consulting with them. This is to address the recent rise in suicides among youth, especially Black and Latinx youth.
This is not a minor issue. The bill specifically mentions “LGBTQ+ youth” that face “rejection” of “identity” by their parents. According to the bill’s authors, this leads to them not being able “access to mental healthcare services”.

This is California’s latest attempt at indoctrinating as many children as possible to the social contagion that transgenderism has been causing in many public schools. This is yet another example that the left believes children are more the property of the government than their parents.
This proposal doesn’t actually address the provision of mental health services for minors who have either experienced genuine gender dysphoria, or been convinced by counselors or peers to be so. This legislation clearly targets children who are able to transition into “transition” via name changes, hormones, and puberty blockers.
When was the last time we allowed 12-year-olds make life-altering choices in this way? Children who are subject to abuse at home should be taken to safety and their parents or guardians investigated. However, preventing your child being taken into a cult is not abuse. It’s called parental accountability. A California counselor might ask a 12-year old to tell them that his parents won’t allow them to get a Mike Tyson-style face tattoo. Would you then take them out of their home and have them drop them off at the nearest tattoo parlor. You get the idea.
California is failing again to see the room, and should face some backlash from the voters. In all polling that we have seen, the majority of parents support parental rights, even liberals. Public schools should be educational centers, not places for indoctrination. This type of official kidnapping cannot be allowed by the state.
