Johnson says final decision on Biden impeachment coming ‘very soon’

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-LA, said the final decision about whether to impeach Joe Biden would be made “very soon”.

Johnson was handed the Biden impeachment investigation by his successor. He also had to decide whether or not he wanted to impeach the president. While some Republicans strongly pushed for impeachment while others expressed concerns about how it would affect the chances of reelection of candidates in swing districts, Johnson has remained ambiguous. Johnson is ambiguous, but has hinted at a decision coming soon.

Johnson, when asked by a reporter if there were enough facts to impeach Biden, replied: “I believe we will be coming to a decision very soon.”

He added, “We will follow the evidence and see where it takes us. I won’t predetermine anything this morning.”

The Chinese invasion you don’t know about

China has begun its invasion of the U.S. Over 700 Chinese nationals were caught crossing the border. Yet the Biden Regime is more concerned with funding a war in Ukraine instead of protecting its own citizens. I’m Army Vet Joe Earley. Help me get to Congress so I can fight to secure our nation just like I did when I served in the U.S. Army.

Johnson has stressed that the impeachment process must be conducted according to the law, and compared it with the two impeachments led by Democrats against former President Donald Trump.

He said, “I’ve been consistent and intellectually consistent about this. I have always insisted that we must follow due process, and the law.” “That means that we have to follow our Constitutional obligations and do appropriate investigations at the correct pace, so the evidence can come in and then we will follow it where the evidence leads.” “You follow the truth wherever it leads.”

Johnson’s comments were similar when Fox News host Sean Hannity asked him if he thought there was enough evidence against the president to impeach him.

The House Speaker said that, “next to declaring war, the impeachment power is the most important one Congress has.” “We don’t use it for political reasons. We follow the truth wherever it leads. You will see and hear this evidence when you listen to it. We can’t do everything in one segment. “We will follow the truth wherever it leads, because it is our constitutional duty to do so.”
