Poll: Donald Trump Takes Lead over Kamala Harris in Michigan

According to a recent survey, former President Donald Trump is leading Vice President Kamala Harri in Michigan by a small margin.

A WDIV/Detroit News survey conducted between August 26 and 29, revealed that 44,7 percent of “likely Michigan voters” supported Trump while 43,5 percent supported Harris.

The poll found that 4,7% of voters supported Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as a former independent candidate for President, while 2,3% said they supported the third-party candidate, and 4,8% said they were undecided.

In the poll, 45.7% of “definite voters” said that they supported Harris. Meanwhile, 44.1% supported Trump. A further 3.9 percent voted for Kennedy. 2.3 percent backed a third party candidate. And 3.9 percent were undecided.

The poll was conducted by ActiVote from July 28 to August 28, 2024. It found that 50,1 percent of “likely voters” supported Harris while 49,9 percent supported Trump as president.

A second poll conducted by AARP between August 7-8 2024 found that Trump was ahead of Harris in Michigan, 45 percent to 44 percent. Kennedy received 6 percent of the vote, while Green Party candidate Jill Stein was tied with independent left-wing presidential candidates Cornel west at 1 percent.

According to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll, Trump also led Harris in seven states that are considered battlegrounds, including Wisconsin, Georgia Arizona, Pennsylvania North Carolina, Michigan and Nevada.

In the “seven closest states” for the 2020 elections, the survey showed that the former president had a 45 to 43 percent advantage over Harris.
