Border Patrol Chief: Terrorists May Be Among Migrants

Border Patrol chief Jason Owens warns that certain migrants crossing the southern border could pose a “serious national security threat.”

He told CBS’s “Face the Nation” that the smugglers, who bring illegal immigrants into the United States “dictate the flow, and we react to it.”

He added, “We try to get ahead of it and deny their ability to use these area.” “But, at the end of it all, we have over 1,900 kilometers of border with Mexico.”

Many Democrats refer to them as asylum seekers.

Owens was worried that someone could exploit terrorist acts under the cover of “asylum seekers”.

The Border Patrol chief commented on the almost million and a quarter migrant encounters in fiscal year 2024.

The official count does not include the 140,000 “known got aways”. “And that is just what we know.”

“That’s a threat to national security.” National security includes border security. If we don’t have any idea who is entering our country, or what their intentions are, then that’s a serious threat. “They’re exploiting the vulnerability on our border at this moment.”

In an interview with Bret Weinstein, the biologist described how many migrants in the Darien Gap camps were not Latin Americans; they were mostly Chinese, and hostile to him when interviewed.
