Now the New York Times Tells Us: ‘Six Key People’ Protected Biden from Bad News
The New York Times reported in the “NOW It Can Be Told” edition, with only two days remaining for Joe Biden to be president, that six people controlled the information given to Biden and the information withheld.
Hunter Biden and Jill Biden believed that he could win. Annie Tomasini and Steve Ricchetti knew how and when to give information to Mr. Biden. She and Anthony Bernal – the most senior aide to the first lady – controlled the public schedule of the president.
Another observation on the fogginess of the president’s thinking over the last four years. Joe Biden never thought it odd that he seldom if ever held events before 10 am or after 4 pm in the afternoon. The Times reported that Biden “pushed his staff” to keep him busy, but we can clearly see how the public calendar is a lot more relaxed.
Biden never thought it strange that he did so few interviews or press conferences. We noticed that Biden asked his staff during the rare public appearances of the president, “Am i allowed to take questions?” Why would the president ask his staff this question?

Biden simply nodded when his staff handed him a teleprompter to use at private fund-raisers. He never thought it odd that the President of the United States was required to make prepared remarks during an off-camera Democratic fundraising event with only one reporter present.
He didn’t think it was strange that he never met his pollsters for his reelection.
He didn’t see his need to nap during the days of preparation for the debate as a sign he was no longer energetic.
The Times continues to offer excuses in this article. “He was exhausted after not one, but two trips in Europe and a fundraiser in California, in the weeks leading up to his debate with Donald Trump on June 27,”.
From June 5 to 9, he attended the 80th Anniversary of D-Day held in France. Second trip, he went to Italy for the G7 Summit from June 12-14. He then flew to Los Angeles, where he attended a George Clooney fundraiser. He returned to the White House at 9:30 pm on June 16th.
Biden had no scheduled public appearances between June 19 and 27 and did not travel to the east coast from June 16 to 27. Those trips had been eleven days earlier! If you are unable to recover from jet-lag in eleven days, then you cannot perform the duties of a president.
Separately in an interview with Bari Weiss House Speaker Mike Johnson told a deeply disturbing story about his difficulty in getting a face to face meeting with President Obama, and then asked Biden about a decision he did not seem to recall making.
“Can I ask you a question? Johnson told Biden, “I cannot answer from my Louisiana constituents.” “Sir? Why did you stop LNG exports to Europe?” Our allies are in high demand for liquefied natural gases. Why would you do this? You understand that we have just discussed Ukraine and you know you are feeding Vladimir Putin’s War Machine. They need gas to get it from him.”
Johnson said that Biden was shocked. Biden replied, “I didn’t say that.” Johnson replied, “Mr. President, yes you did. Biden denied that he had halted LNG exports. Johnson then suggested to the president that he ask his secretary to print the executive order so that they could both read it.
Biden then remembered that he signed an executive ordnance, but the order only asked for a study of LNG’s effects. Johnson was firm. “Sir I know you stopped it. I have export terminals within my state. “I’ve spoken to these people in my state. I’ve also talked to them this morning. This is causing massive damage to our national security, economy.”
Johnson stated that he understood Biden wasn’t lying to him in this exchange. Johnson stated that Biden did not realize what he signed. “I walked out with fear and disgust because I thought “we are in serious danger–who’s running the country?” I don’t even know who placed the paper before him, but he did not know.”
Biden’s White House announced on January 26, 2024 — this was my intention — “a temporary pause” on the pending decisions regarding LNG exports to non-FTA nations until the Department of Energy could update the analyses for authorizations. The White House Meeting Johnson described took place on February 27, 2024.
