Kirby Says Investigators ‘Did The Best They Could’ To Track Down White House Cocaine Suspect

A top Biden administration official said that the Secret Service did “the best it could” to investigate the origin of the Cocaine found at the White House, even though they were unable to identify a suspect.

John Kirby, coordinator of Strategic Communications at National Security Council told Shannon Bream, Fox News’ host on “Fox News Sunday,” that there was not enough “forensic evidence,” at the end, to identify the perpetrator. A bag of cocaine found in the lobby of the West Wing on July 2 was a result of an investigation.

Kirby replied, “I cannot really speak about the investigation done by the Secret Service,” when Bream asked: “What if there was something more deadly?”

Kirby said that the investigators did their best to find out how and where it came from and to identify who might have owned it. However, they were unable to produce any forensic evidence to prove it.

Kirby explained that the cocaine had been found in the “visitors’ lobby” which is “highly-trafficked.” The administration, he said, has taken this discovery “seriously,” and will investigate how the drug could have entered the White House.

Kirby stated, “We will certainly do everything we can to prevent this from happening again in the future.” “This is not a happy situation.”

The Secret Service completed its investigation on Thursday and found that there were no fingerprints, or DNA, on the bag. According to reports, the federal agency reviewed video surveillance logs and visitor records but came up empty-handed.

Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, was initially suspected to be the culprit, since he appeared at the White House just before the scandal broke and had previously struggled with drug addictions, including cocaine. Sources told NBC, however, that the “leading hypothesis” was that a visitor who visited the White House on a weekend tour left the substance.

Some Republicans have claimed that the White House has been attempting to “coverup” in order to protect the President.

In a video recorded by Rep. Tim Burchett, R-TN, after receiving a briefing about the investigation, he said: “Just came from the most ridiculous meeting ever with the Secret Service regarding the cocaine found at the White House.” It turns out that they don’t even know who did it. They won’t find out who it was until the investigation ends at the end this week. “That’s it.”

Burchett added, “Another cover-up.” You know, this is the most secure building on the planet. No one, not even journalists, can enter without their knowledge.”

Even Donald Trump, former president and current frontrunner in the Republican presidential race, commented on the controversy. He called it “a two-tiered level of justice.”

They can’t solve the mystery despite all the cameras pointed directly at the “scene of the crime” and the best forensics in the world. Trump wrote on Truth Social: “They know the answer and everyone else does!”
