Florida Republican introduces impeachment articles against Joe Biden

Rep. Greg Steube (R-Fla.), jumped in front of his Republican colleagues and presented articles of impeachment on Friday against President Biden.

Steube, who is a member of several congressional committees that are constructing a multi-pronged case for the removal of Biden from office said it was time to act. Steube filed articles of impeachment for Biden, claiming that the president was complicit in his son Hunter’s alleged crimes. He also claimed that he had tried to shield Hunter from justice.

Steube stated in a press release that it was “long past time” to impeach Joe Biden. He has betrayed the trust he had as President and undermined his integrity.

Steube published four articles in which he accused Biden of high crimes and misdemeanors.

First, the president is accused of abusing his power by accepting bribes and committing Hobbs Act fraud. These allegations stem from Biden’s alleged involvement in his family’s business dealings. This includes Hunter and James Biden (the president’s brother), who allegedly tried to sell access to the then-Vice Presidential Biden from 2009 to 2017 for “payments and opportunities from domestic and foreign business partners.”

Rep. James Comer of the House Oversight Committee, R-Ky released on Wednesday a memo that purported to show that foreign payments made to the Biden Family totaled over $20 million. However, Democrats claim that there is no evidence that shows President Biden received any payments or engaged in misconduct.

The second article claims that President Biden obstructed the justice system, citing IRS testimony that “members from the Biden campaign improperly collluded with Justice Department officials to improperly interfer with investigations into tax offenses alleged to be committed by Hunter Biden.”

The third and forth articles accuse Biden, respectively, of “fraud”, and paying for Hunter Biden to use illegal drugs or have sex with prostitutes.

The evidence is mounting every day that the Biden crime family has profited from Joe’s government position through bribery and fraud. Steube stated that Joe Biden cannot continue to be in the White House and sell out our country.

Steube also introduced legislation that would require the Secret Service Chief to submit a report about the illegal use of controlled substances at the White House. This comes after the Secret Service ended its investigation of cocaine found in the White House last week without identifying any persons of interest. Steube titled the bill “Helping Understanding Narcotics Traces in the Executive Residence Act (HUNTER).”

The United States Secret Service (USSS), which is a law enforcement agency in the United States, calls itself one of the world’s most elite agencies. He said it was “completely unacceptable” that the USSS had failed to identify the person responsible for bringing the cocaine into one the world’s most secure buildings. The American people deserve to know the truth. “My legislation demands information about the closed investigation of the cocaine found in the White House last July, and focuses on ways Congress can provide oversight in order to prevent future illegal use of controlled substances at the White House.”

Steube’s articles of impeachment are now ahead of four investigations led by committees of the GOP that were looking for ways to impeach Biden and his top officials. The White House has mocked suggestions that Biden be removed from his office.

We won’t get into hypotheticals about what the House Republicans may or may not want to do. It’s up to them. They should speak. “I can only speak about what we are doing right now,” Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary at the time, said.

“The economic data are so much better than economists expected. This is due to the hard work of this president. This is going to be the focus. “Our focus will be on how we can make Americans’ lives better and give them a little breathing space.”
