Joe Biden Delivers Christmas Address Without Saying the Word ‘Jesus’; Calls for Americans to ‘Drain’ Political ‘Poison’
On Thursday, President Joe Biden gave a Christmas address but didn’t speak of Jesus or Christ.
Biden opened his address to the White House reporters with the words, “How silently and how silently is the wondrous gift given.”
Although the president spoke of a Christmas “child”, he did not know his name.
He said, “We look up to the sky to one star shining brighter than the rest, leading us to the birth a child, which Christians believe to be God’s Son.”

Biden spoke many times about the “lightness” and “peacefulness” of Christmas.
He said, “That light is still here, illuminating us as Americans and citizens in the world, a lamp that burned at Bethlehem at the beginning,”
President Obama used Christmas to encourage Americans to come together around common values and not get caught up in politics.
He said, “I hope that this holiday season will rid our politics of the poison that has infected them and set us apart,”
Biden also asked Americans not to judge each other based on their political views.
“And look. Take a good look at one another. We are not Democrats or Republicans. He said, “Co-Americans.”
President Obama urged everyone to show kindness for one another during Christmas.
He said, “It may just be the greatest gift you could ever give.”
