Hunter’s business partner Devon Archer in ‘hiding’ ahead of bombshell testimony

Devon Archer is Hunter Biden’s longtime friend, and a fellow Burisma Board member. He has reportedly “hidden” himself ahead of his anticipated testimony about President Biden’s involvement in Hunter Biden’s business dealings before he became president.

Archer will testify to the House Oversight Committee next week that he saw the elder Biden listening in on at least 20 calls with Hunter.

The New York Post announced the hearing on Sunday evening. Archer has since fled from his Long Island and Brooklyn residences, but still intends to testify. The Daily Mail reported on Wednesday.

Sources told the Daily Mail Archer received threats, and he was “concerned for his safety and that of his family”.

Archer was also reportedly threatened, but denied being “in hiding.”

Archer’s spouse, Krista, confirmed he was not in Washington, D.C., nor at their New York homes.

He’s not at home. He is not at the other house. “He’s not in D.C.,” said she.

Fox News Digital contacted the Boies, Schiller and Flexner office of Matthew Schwartz, Archer’s attorney, but was informed that he wasn’t in. He didn’t respond to publication.

Archer, according to New York Post reporting, is expected to testify in court next week about Hunter’s practice of introducing his father to foreign partners or potential investors at meetings and putting him on speakerphone often to impress them.

Archer was invited to testify by the House Oversight Committee after he received a one-year prison sentence last year for his involvement in a $60,000,000 bond fraud that involved various clients. Archer canceled at least three depositions that were scheduled for him previously due to personal reasons.

Archer’s lawyer issued a statement Monday afternoon. He said, “There were many leaks and speculations about Mr. Archer’s potential statement before the Oversight Committee. But next week, Mr. Archer gets to speak for himself.”

Hunter Biden’s deal to plead guilty fell through during his first appearance in court on Wednesday.

As part of a plea agreement to avoid jail for a felony firearm charge, the president’s child was expected to plead to two misdemeanor counts of willful non-payment of federal income tax.

He pleaded not guilty instead, as federal prosecutors confirmed that the President’s son was still under federal investigation.
